The Rainforest Chica Signature HP Bars Collection 2026
Once a year I make a limited collection of hot process soaps. This year I wanted to do something a little different. Instead of creating completely new formulations, each soap is inspired by one of my favorite Rainforest Chica products. Every bar is handmade in small batches and formulated specifically as a soap, while staying true to the product that inspired it.
Susan M. Parker Amazonia Face HP Bar
Inspired by our Amazonia Custom Facial Oil and created in collaboration with Susan M. Parker, this luxurious facial HP bar is made for a gentle cleanse. The star of this bar is our amazing cacay oil, with açaí, bacaba and buriti playing supporting roles.
Inspired by our Brazilian Bums Butter, this creamy body HP bar leaves skin feeling soft, nourished and pampered. The stars of this bar are pracaxi oil and bacuri butter.
Healthy Skin Body Butter HP Bar
Inspired by our Healthy Skin Body Butter, this deeply moisturizing HP bar is superfatted with cupuaçu butter, andiroba oil and the other ingredients that make this formulation one of my favorites.
Ultimate Hair Butter HP Bar
Inspired by our Ultimate Hair Butter, this conditioning HP bar is ideal for most hair types, leaving hair soft, manageable and healthy. The superfat stars are pracaxi oil, followed by patauá, Brazil nut and ucuuba.
Ojon Hair Treatment HP Bar
Inspired by our Ojon Hair Treatment, this richer conditioning HP bar is especially suited for dry, damaged, coarse or curly hair. Superfatted with gorgeous ojon oil and pracaxi oil.

These bars are very rich in fats and soft, they will provide you with a deeply unique experience... But like anything else it isn't for everyone. They also go out with minimal packaging.
HP Rainforest Chica soaps bars are made in micro batches with only the best oils and butters. They need to be treated with love and kept dry during uses.
If you are new to hair soap bars, do a little research, they aren't for everyone, but you can always use them as incredible body soaps if they don't work for your hair.
HP or Hot Processed bars use the same recipes as Cold Processed soaps, but instead of curing for weeks to complete the saponification, we cook it until the saponification is complete then whatever is added afterwards has its properties stay intact since it didn't go through the saponification process.
Added after cooking: acai, pracaxi, bacuri, cacay, ojon, pequi.
*The Amazonian butters and oils have been tested by generations of rainforest's indigenous and ribeirinho people. They are used for cooking, baking, healing, moisturizing and protecting against the elements.
When we consume Amazonia's sustainable, non-timber-products, we give the local people an alternative to logging and farming which are the two largest responsible factors of the deforestation of such an important ecosystem.
Rainforest Chica's products are wild harvested or ethically farmed. With constant focus on sustainability and fair treatment of harvester, farmers, transporters and producers.
