Give your formulations a little wake-up call with Guarana. Add it to scrubs, masks, soaps, shampoo bars and other cosmetic formulations.
Guarana is a plant native to the Brazilian Amazon. Its fruit is about the size of a coffee berry, and its seeds naturally contain caffeine, along with compounds such as theobromine and theophylline. Guarana seeds can contain considerably more caffeine than coffee beans.
Guarana has been used by Indigenous communities in Brazil for centuries and is now known around the world, especially as an ingredient in beverages and supplements. In Brazil, guarana powder is commonly mixed with water or sold in capsules.
More recently, guarana has also found its way into cosmetic formulations. Its naturally occurring caffeine and antioxidant compounds make it especially popular in products designed for tired-looking skin, body scrubs and massage products.
Topically, caffeine is often used in cosmetic products because it can temporarily help skin look smoother and less puffy. This is one reason you’ll also find guarana and caffeine in some body and cellulite-focused formulations.
I personally love using guarana in scrubs and masks for the face, legs and butt.
For cosmetic use only. Not intended for internal consumption. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or sensitive to caffeine, consult a healthcare professional before use.

When we consume Amazonia's sustainable, non-timber-products, we give the local people an alternative to logging and farming which are the two largest responsible factors of the deforestation of such an important ecosystem.
